Are you attending this year’s MANA/CAN conference in Niagra Falls, Canada? If so, consider participating in “I am a Midwife”, MANA’s brand new public education campaign to promote midwifery care and increase access to midwives. A series of short video portraits will be produced that will feature a diverse and multi-cultural selection of midwives in the US. The films will be distributed and promoted through social media networks.
Nicolle Littrell, filmmaker, educator, birth activist and director of Woman in the Moon Films will be producing “I am a Midwife” with MANA. Production will commence at this year’s conference, where Nicolle will be interviewing midwives, Friday-Sunday.
